John Occleshaw, MA FIA
Senior Vice-President, Reinsurance
 John joined Canada Life in 1997 as a valuation actuary in the UK division. In summer 2000 he moved to Toronto, working in Corporate Actuarial looking at earnings analysis and capital allocation. In late 2002 he moved back to the UK and took a series of roles in the Individual Insurance Business, starting with responsibility for product pricing and culminating in Managing Director, Individual Business, with responsibility for all aspects of the UK annuity, pensions, investment and individual protection operations.
At the start of 2012 John joined the reinsurance team with responsibility for overseeing all of the global reinsurance businesses of London Life and Canada Life. John is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (1995).
Jeff Poulin, FSA, FCIA
Senior Vice-President, Life Reinsurance
 Jeff joined London Life Insurance Company in 1988 as an Actuarial Assistant. In 1992, Jeff moved his family to Barbados where he served as Vice-President, Life & Health for London Life & Casualty Reinsurance Corporation.
In 1995, Jeff became part of the US operation of the London Reinsurance Group via London Life Reinsurance Company (LLRC) in Blue Bell, PA. During his career with LLRC, Jeff has contributed to the development of a sound portfolio of life, health and annuity reinsurance. In 2007, Jeff was appointed President of London Life Reinsurance Company.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1992) and the Canadian Institute of the Actuaries (1993).
Glenn Hickling, CA
Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer
 Glenn joined London Life in 1996. He held a number of senior financial roles prior to his appointment in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer of London Life Insurance Company and London Insurance Group, and London Reinsurance Group in 1998. With the coming together of London Reinsurance Group and Canada Life Reinsurance as part of the Great-West Lifeco organization in 2003, Glenn assumed responsibility for certain discontinued reinsurance operations and led the investigative work related to a number of large arbitrations. CFO responsibilities for Canada Life Reinsurance were added in 2010 and today Glenn oversees financial management operations for the entire Reinsurance group of companies.
Angela Jonkhans, FSA, FCIA
Vice-President and Actuary, Reinsurance
 Angela was first employed by London Life from 1981 to 1998. She returned to the Great-West Lifeco organization in 2004, bringing with her experience as an industry consultant and a lecturer at the University of Western Ontario. As a key member of the financial management team, she has held senior roles in Asset Liability Management, Life Financial Management, Corporate Actuarial and Capital Management. Angela is currently responsible for all actuarial functions in both Canada Life Reinsurance and London Reinsurance Group (our Property & Casualty operation).
Angela is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1986) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (1986).
Tom O’Sullivan, FSA, FCIA, MAAA
General Manager and Actuary, London Life Barbados Branch
 Tom joined Canada Life in 1979 and held roles of increasing responsibility in Group Insurance, Home and Auto Insurance and Corporate Actuarial prior to joining Reinsurance in 2003 where he was responsible for the actuarial functions of the Reinsurance Operation. Effective 2010, Tom is leading the growth of London Life Insurance Company’s Barbados Branch together with its ongoing management.
Tom is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (1984) and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (1984) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (2006).
