Canada Life Reinsurance receives a CSR award from Water Safety Ireland for its contribution toward the flooding crisis in Pakistan.

Canada Life Reinsurance recently received a CSR award from Miriam O'Callaghan on behalf of Water Safety Ireland, recognizing the contribution the company made towards the flooding crisis in Pakistan. Donated were ring buoys which are now in use on volunteer front-line ambulances operated by the Edhi Foundation in Karachi. 2023 will see CLRe further invest in supporting the expansion of this simple but lifesaving device on first responder vehicles in Pakistan.
Thank you to Roger Sweeney from Water Safety Ireland, Areej Aka from Edhi Foundation (one of the largest NGOs operating in Pakistan), and to CLRe colleagues originally from Pakistan who established the connections with charities in their homeland to make sure the resources went to where it was needed most.
