Small groups of volunteers from Canada Life Reinsurance in Toronto will be helping monthly at the Allan Gardens Food Bank.

In February, the Toronto office kicked off their monthly volunteer days with Allan Gardens Food Bank. Located in downtown Toronto, AGFB is only open on Thursdays and Fridays but serves more than 1000 clients each week. While some of the clients served are in temporary need, others are living in poverty, and food security is a daily struggle; 20% of those served are children.
Over the course of 2023, the CLRe Toronto office will be sending small groups of volunteers each month and providing financial assistance to support the food bank and help alleviate food insecurity in Toronto.
